| Taste old-time Maine...Lobsterbakes at Searsport Shores. How do we do it? Early in the afternoon we build a fire to provide a hot bed of coals. Then we pull on rubber boots and gather fresh seaweed while it's still full of salt water. About 45 minutes before dinner, we pile the seaweed onto steel plates and add buckets of steamers & mussels, local lobsters, fresh corn on the cob, and mixed bags of sweet onions and potatoes. Finish the meal off peach/blueberry Dutch Cobbler and coffee. You have just enjoyed a real Maine Lobsterbake. Because it's all fresh- you MUST order in advance |
